AVANSI, is the Dominican subsidiary of Servicios Avanzados para las Instituciones SL, (VIAVANSI), a Spaniard company highly specialized in software development for Public Administrations. AVANSI appears as a service company, specialized in the telematic segment of the administration for citizens and digital signature.
With the progressive growth of ON LINE Administration, this entity emerge, with the aim to foment and promote the development of the electronic government, offering services related to the electronic certification, as well as design, development and implementation of applications and rendering of services based on new IT's, and in this way, to guarantee the safety, confidentiality, genuineness and irrevocability of the transactions made between citizens, business and the Administration.
With this clear aim on 2006, AVANSI obtains from the Instituto Dominicano de Telecomunicaciones (INDOTEL) the distinction of being the First Certification Authority in Dominican Republic legally qualified to emit digital certificates as its contemplates the Law 126-02 of Electronic Trade, Documents and Digital Signature.
